What is the power difference between the 3.2 V6, and the 2.0T flat four?

3 German ducks worth I've heard.

Depends on the year. The rule of thumb is that the 3.2 is usually up by about 50hp, but they’re even on torque.

About 1.2 liters and two cylinders.

Are they Horse sized ducks?

Or about 1/30 of a liter and 2 cylinders if we think about it on a per cylinder basis

The 2.0T is in my wife’s ‘08 Passat Wagon. I really like it, it’s a very efficient engine but when you let it rev and boost, it can pull hard. It’s power rating does not match it’s drivability fun-ness. Still gets like 29 MPG at 80 on long highway trips.

I wasn’t aware that Audi ever had a flat four...

I’m kinda disappointed that they don’t have a W4.

Say that out loud 3-5 times fast.
The German duck doesn't translate well to horses. I think it's better represented as a fraction of the Flying Spaghetti Monster multiplied by Jesus on a raptor and then divided by 3.14 Buddha statues.

For a sedan I’m guessing that I wouldn’t notice the power difference so much, but if I go up to a wagon I would like the extra 50 for the added weight .

They don't.

For the heavier car, the turbo actually has the better torque curve. But the 3.2 is a sweet engine also. The determining factor for most people is what kind of modifications are you planning. The 2.0T is super mod-friendly.

By the look of the engines you’re considering, I’m guessing you’re looking at a B7 A4. Here’s the APR page for the car:

And Thats just a drop in the bucket of what’s out there.
